More Tote Bags!

Since last we visited here at Hooked On Needles, I have been pretty much tied to my sewing machine all day except for the necessary interruptions of family life. I am sorry to say that the pile on the pool table is still quite substantial and, in fact, it doesn't even look like I've made a dent in it! But I have - honest! Would you like to see what I've done?

This is tote bag #6 - very basic, but lined and reversible.

Tote bags #7 and #8 - same as #6 but with different fabrics for the outside and linings.

Tote bag #9 - same as above except the corduroy bottom on this bag. It is also lined and reversible.

Tote bag #10 - same as #9 except for the choice of fabric. The fabric on the outside of this bag is the lining on #9, and the lining on this bag is the same fabric used on the outside of bags #7 and #8.

And finally Tote bag #11 - same as all the others but for the fabric choice!

Can you tell I've been having fun mixing and matching all the wonderful fabrics that are available to me?

I have also made a few more pillows and have one more tote bag almost finished and another cut out and ready to sew. I will show those to you next time.

The opening of the Holiday Fair on Saturday is creeping up awfully fast, so I better get back to work.

Happy Stitching!

  • Thank you for your comment on my blog! I have been having fun browsing through your recent posts. I'm envious of your huge fabric stash ;)

I peeked at your user info and got really excited because no one ever knows about the Hornblower books when I mention them! My husband and I have been listening to them in audiobook form for the past several months and I really enjoy them.
