Let the Auctions Begin!

Have you ever run across something from your past that, when you acquired it, you thought you would have it for the rest of your life and you couldn't imagine ever being without it? And then years later, you come upon it and wonder why in the world you ever got it to begin with? Or perhaps you remember why you got it, but then you wonder why you have kept it for so long? Or you find things that you know you will never use or make or do, even though you would love to?

Well, during my recent sewing room clean-up, I gathered quite a few items like that, and I have just listed them on eBay. I mention this here only because many of you have asked me to let you know when I start my auctions, just in case there is something you might want. So here's how you can find my auctions...Get into www.ebay.com and click on "Advanced Search" which is right next to the Search button at the top of the page. On the next page, click on "By seller" which is on the left side under Items. Where it says "Enter seller's user id" enter Mrszam (it's a long story!) and press return. Then you will see a list of all the items I have up for auction right now. There are 37 and many of them are multiple item auctions, which means that there are several of the exact same item available.

But an easier way to get that same list is to click here!

Now I promise I will never speak of my Great Sewing Room Clean-up of 2009 ever again...unless of course I need to!

I feel bad that I don't have any pictures to share with you this time, but I will leave you with this link which will bring you to a recent article by my favorite embroidery expert, Mary Corbet of Needle'nThread. It is on Crazy Quilting and it is truly a work of art. You can scroll to the bottom of the article and click on the last picture to see a larger view. It is well worth the few clicks just to look at it.

Happy Stitching!
