Colorful Fabric Surprise waiting for me!

For the past week, I have been up north with my family enjoying the most relaxing and refreshing vacation on a beautiful lake in the mountains. We did a little bit of everything vacation-like: a little swimming, a little boating, a little resting, a little playing, and of course (more than) a little shopping! In particular, my daughter and I spent some time on two different days at our favorite vacation shops, including Keepsake Quilting and Patternworks in Center Harbor, New Hampshire. I'll be sharing our purchases from vacation in another post in the very near future.

Today I want to show you what George the mailman delivered to me. It makes me happy just thinking about it! Of course it's my package of 125 fat quarters from Ronna at Grace Full Creations which I mentioned having ordered recently. I hope some of you took advantage of this fabulous offer too. Take a look at what Ronna picked out for me...

Just look at all that potential! Such a nice rainbow of colors, and all so new and fresh and pretty! Ooooh, I just giggle looking at it!

If it weren't for all the purchases I made on vacation, I would be sorely tempted to call Ronna and ask for another box. But I dare not. I will be happy looking at what I have and thinking of all the fun things I can do with 125 fat quarters of beautiful fabric. Oh, the possibilities!

I hope all of you are enjoying your summer or winter, as the case may be. We still have a few more little fun things planned with the kids before school starts up again in September, and of course some fun projects to show you and even a summer giveaway coming up in another week or so. Just as soon as I can get it all together, I'll post the details.

Now I must go look at the fabric one more time before throwing some burgers on the grill!
