Are you ready to see what I made out of that darling Cheep Talk fabric from Connecting Threads? I guess the title gave it away, so here it is...
We had some beautiful weather recently for outdoor picture taking on the deck. What do you think? Pretty cute?
The fabric is just so fun to work with because of the design of the birds on the wires. They just crack me up! And I love that blue stripe. I was able to find cording in a rich peacock color to coordinate too!
Elizabeth wanted a zipper pocket on the inside, so that was my first purchase at our new Joann Fabric store that just opened in our mall.
She also wanted open pockets on the inside, so I was able to use more of that cute stripe fabric to give her three pockets to organize her stuff.
This bag is quilted and lined as you saw, and very generously sized, approximately the same as Susie's Quilted Cinch Sack, about 14 by 19 inches.
This bag was made using a modified version of this pattern, available in my Etsy shop, so you can make a fun cinch sack for yourself!

I love how this turned out, and it looks so good on your porch. Looking forward to the zippered pocket tutorial, as they intimidate me.

This is so awesome. I love the pockets and zipper inside. So much better than those store bought ones. My husband will think you've created a monster because I have some fat quarters to use for this kind of project. Yippe!

Oh I just love it! Not only is the fabric some of the cutest I've seen, but I love the bag! I soooo have to start learning how to make things other than pillows and blankets!
