Happy Halloween ~ just a little early!
George the mailman was my friend again today! Instead of just a pile of junk mail and bills, he brought me a neat little package all the way from Spanish Fork, Utah. Remember I had signed up for Aunt Pitty Pat's Halloween Tote Bag swap a while back. I haven't shown you what I made for my partner yet because she hasn't received it, but I received my package today and here it is...
Check out all this fun Halloween stuff! The swap required a tote bag made with fabrics from our stash, three Halloween fat quarters and a spool of matching thread, and a few other little gifts. I would have to say Shannon went above and beyond the requirements with all these wonderful gifts she included inside the fun Halloween tote bag she made for me.
I just love the outside fabric on the tote bag...so elegant at first glance, and then ... whoa! ... there are spiders hanging all over the fabric! And one big one right in the middle of the fun fabric flower too! The lining is big orange polka dots...bright and cheerful!
Some yummy looking and very colorful popcorn with a cute little Happy Halloween sign and a pair of tiny little orange handled scissors...
...three cute Halloween fat quarters and a spool of black thread...
...Shannon's own pattern for a darling Halloween Treat wallhanging...
...and a cute little wooden Boo! to frighten all the goblins away!
Hop on over to Shannon's website to see what other fun Halloween things she has going on. You might even see something over there soon that I made for her!
Another fun swap! Thanks Shannon and Aunt Pitty Pat!

Shannon was just here in St. George about a week ago, and we met up. She is as cute as her gift bags. What nice things she sent you!

I am so glad you liked everything. This was a fun swap to do. I hadn't ever done a Halloween swap before. Now I just have to finish up my quilt blocks for that swap. Thanks for the nice comments you leave on my blog.
