Advent Calendar Christmas Tree - A Quilted Wall Hanging
It's November 1st which means just one month until the countdown to Christmas begins! I've got just the thing for you to make and hang on your wall to help with that fun countdown too! Take a look...
It's an Advent Calendar Christmas Tree, quilted and bound, with a little treat pocket for each day from December 1st until the Christmas day.
This my own original design which I have written up into a pattern with nine pages of clear instructions, photos for just about every step, and templates for the numbers and the star so you can embroider them just like I did.
You can use any fabric you like and fill the little pockets with any little treats or prizes or ornaments that your children would enjoy finding each day.

Included in my pattern are also instructions on how to make a quick and easy hanger for your quilted Advent Calendar Christmas Tree, or any quilted wall hanging you may want to hang up for a special occasion.
This pattern is available over in my Etsy shop in the form of a PDF file that will be emailed to you upon receipt of payment. No postage to pay, no waiting for the mail to be delivered, no wasted paper. You could start making this today and have it finished in no time at all!
Happy Stitching!

This is so cute! But I have three Advent Calendar kits to work up. I had better get going! If you make the pockets larger you can use it for Christmas cards.
How is the candle mat swap going?

Awesome, Mary Grace!!! I had an Advent calendar when my kids were little and they can still remember snuggling in the corner by where the calendar hung and reading the verses that accompanied that calendar and then hanging the ornaments. It was all made of felt and now my daughter has it. :-)
