Mary Grace I just had to find you, after reading your comment on Leah's latest post. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It is a struggle that I am well familiar with. I don't want to mass produce the things I sew. I sew for the enjoyment of it and go where it leads me. I have friends telling me I should sell what I make, yet I find that just like you said, most people don't understand what goes into making something handmade and too often compare our prices to Target or Wal-Mart. I'm wanting to find a way to have my passion provide an income for me, but I take courage in reading comments like yours and hearing about what you sell on etsy and why. Brilliant. I may do the same (as my shelves in my sewing room are filling up with "samples").

Oh Mary Grace...I LOVE these yellow cloths...they too would be PERFECT in my purple and yellow kitchen! Looks like sunshine and lemons!

The yellow colors are just bright and cheerful. I looked at yarn yesterday at the store and I thought of you and your beautiful washclothes. You really have an eye for color.
