Crocheted Cotton Hotpads ~ Using Up Leftover Cotton
After making all those crocheted cotton wash cloths this summer, I had lots of leftover odd pieces of cotton. So what do you think I did with them? Take a look...
I used them up making these double thick crocheted cotton hot pads! The above picture is one side of this blue/yellow/pink hot pad...
...and this picture shows the other side of the same blue/yellow/pink hot pad! I love how the colors wrap around from front to back and make each side look a little different.
Here's another one I made using more of the leftovers...this one is yellow/blue/orange/green.
Here is the other side of the same hot pad. Fun!
If you'd like to learn how to make one of these double thick cotton hot pads for yourself, check out my video tutorial by clicking HERE. They are so fun and easy to make, requiring only very basic crochet skill. They work up quickly and make great gifts too! Go for it!

I love scrappy quilts, and the scrappy potholders too! Great way to use up leftover bits of yarn.
