After you have all the blocks finished, just arrange them in a way that you like, sew them together, then quilt and bind.

These blocks were quite small and my finished quilt was just a wallhanging, not nearly big enough to be used as anything but a doll blanket really. If you want something bigger, like a lap quilt or twin even, you should decided how many blocks you will be making, then do some math to see how big those blocks should be to end up with the size you want to make. The variations are endless, but with a little thought and creativity, you can come up with a very lovely gift for your friend.

Good luck!

MGMMary Grace McNamarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04994668228832105911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451108506765377069.post-90192980336573258622014-04-03T09:33:38.898-04:002014-04-03T09:33:38.898-04:00hello- I'm new to this so bear with me.. Looking forward to seeing what happens next -- more fabrics, more styles of handwriting, names from places near and far....How fun!
WendyBeeWendyBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07171619702536045694noreply@blogger.com
