My first tote bag using this pattern was made with discontinued upholstery samples from my local furniture store. The tote bag I made for Lyn as part of the Stitcher's Angel Swap was also made from this pattern. And all the tote bags I made for the Holiday Fair at my son's school were made using the same basic method. So you see that there are lots of ways you can personalize this pattern and make it unique. Once you make your first, you will be a tote bag pro!
