Free for the taking...plus postage!
As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I've been doing a little cleaning out and reorganization in my sewing area, during which I came upon a few items that had been given to me so I could save them from sure destruction. They are items I know I will never use so I thought I would offer them to anyone who might be interested in having them, on only one condition: when the item arrives in your mailbox, you look at the postage amount on the package and send that amount to me at the return address you will also find on the package. Basically, you get the item you want for free and you reimburse me for postage. Not a bad deal, I'd say.
So here are the first few items up for grabs...
Item number one is a package of prints for decoupage. Never opened. More pics below. I've never used anything like this so I can't really say anything about it. If you will use it and would like to have it, comment on this post and please please please make sure you include your email address so I can contact you. So many people who leave comments never leave a way to reply and I would hate to think how many people out there have the idea that I never reply to my comments! So please, unless you always receive replies to all your comments and you are certain your email is available on your profile, please include your email address in your comment!
Here are a few more pics of the decoupage prints package...

Next item is a two-for-one deal. This is also another craft I have never tried, but it appears that the package on the left is a beginner kit for needle felting and the package on the right is a kit to needle felt a candle mat.

That's the front of the candle mat kit.
And this is the package from the back showing what is in it.
This is the package header for the candle mat kit.
This is the back of the beginner package.
I also have about 36 leaflets, magazines and books of counted cross stitch patterns. I don't have time right now to scan each cover for you to see but there are designs for Christmas, babies, mugs, Footprints in the Sand, angels, basket liners, mug mats, mini stockings, bunnies, Noah's Ark, wedding samplers, ivy, several Cricket Collection leaflets, scissor cases, songs of praise. Many of the leaflets are Leisure Arts. There is a book called Quilt Designs in Cross Stitch by Gloria & Pat, who I recall were hot designers of counted cross stitch patterns when this needle art was at its height. I am happy to mail the whole lot to anyone who would promise to reimburse postage on 3.5 pounds of media mail from zip code 01453. I'm pretty sure it will be less than $5 even to the west coast of the US. Cross Stitch items have been taken!
So let me know if you are interested in receiving any of these items and leave a comment. Please only US addressees. Thanks for helping me clean out!
Update:
Happy Stitching!
