Can you make one quilt block?

Do you ever stop to think how many blessings you receive every day? Even if you many not be in the best of health, or if you have suffered the loss of a job or a loved one recently, or have other difficulties in your life, there are still so many things to be thankful for. When I read about this project over at Laurie's Yankee Quilter website, I knew right away that I would join in and help. I am so thankful not only for the opportunity to help, but for the ability to help as well.

If you would like to help too by making one quilt block, hop on over to Laurie's website and read about this very kind hearted project and the tragedy that prompted it. Then count your blessings and be thankful for each one.

Happy Stitching!

  • I"m happy Laurie is doing this. Terry will have a tough time juggling kids still in school and going to a hospital an hour away....AND doing without her hubby's paycheck due to his being out of work. This is a sad situation and I hope it helps her to know we all care. Your post is worded very nicely...and I'm sure others will go there and make a block. I"m including a few dollars, too, so Laurie will have the postage money OR can give the money to Terry. I see 3 longarmers have volunteered their services...which is GREAT.
