Summer Crocheting
After finishing that super huge crocheted afghan, thankfully while the weather was still cool and comfortable, I jumped right into my summer crocheting! Since all my crocheted cotton dish/wash cloths sold out right before Christmas, I needed to stock up on more for my Etsy shop and for the craft fairs I'll be doing this fall. I had already stocked up on cotton yarn, and the weather has been warming up around here, and most importantly I was ready for small projects that would provide near-instant gratification! Here's what I've done so far...
My first dozen!
These cloths are all made using the same stitch and design. The only difference between them is the yarn color used.
They finish at about 9 inches square and are wonderful to use in the kitchen or in the shower. As soon as I have a chance to take some good pictures, I'll be listing them over in my Etsy shop. But if you are interested in having some for yourself, just email me and let me know how many and if you have a color preference. They are $4 each plus actual shipping cost. I have lots of different colors to choose from, and I'll be making them in random order, unless requested. I also have plain white for anyone who wants a real spa look and feel to their cloths!
I also have been working on something that I think is very exciting, but I can't show or tell about it yet. Oooooh, it's hard to keep good secrets, but I think this one is better kept until the whole thing can be revealed. Here's one little hint...it has to do with crocheted Basket Weave stitch!
Do you have any summer projects to work on in the warm weather?
Happy Stitching!

I especially love to use these kinds of dish cloths. They work better than any other kind of dishcloth I've ever used. And looking forward to seeing your new basket weave project.
