Pure (and simple) Tote Bags
What do you get when you put a charm pack from the stash closet and some fabulous yardage from vacation shopping together with a little fusible fleece and cotton belting? Give up? Well, keep on reading and I'll show you what I got from that combination...
Three canvas bottom tote bags! Pure by Sweetwater is the fabric line I used for these, and I just love the word fabrics they put in all their lines. The blue and brown combination is pretty nice too, don't you think?
All three bags are lined with the same words on white fabric and each bag also has a swivel clip to keep keys from getting lost!
These bags are all approximately the same size as each other: 12 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches on the boxed bottom, 13 inches from bottom to top at the side seam, 17 1/2 inches across the top from seam to seam, and the handles extend about 10 1/2 inches from the top of the bag to the top of the handle.
They will be making an appearance over in my Etsy shop very soon, joining all the other handmade items just waiting for new homes! Go over and take a look. You just might find something you can't live without!
Happy Stitching!
