Layer Cake Quilt-Along Block Five
We're already on Block Number Five of the Layer Cake Quilt Along! Here's mine...
Pretty wild, wouldn't you say?
I love how the corner squares were mitered for this block. I learned a new technique! Very easy and a super cool effect too.
If you check out my sidebar now, just above the button for this quilt along, you'll find a button for another quilt along hosted by Rachel of p.s. i quilt. It's going to be a postage stamp quilt, which I have never made before, and it calls for two jelly rolls and some yardage. I have one jelly roll of Sent With Love by Deb Strain for Moda and also enough yardage of plain solid white fabric of good quality to cut my own jelly roll. So in keeping with my continuing project of using up my stash, I have joined Rachel's quilt along and am very much looking forward to making a postage stamp quilt! Check it out if you're interested.
Happy Stitching!
