This pincushion is adorable. I have saved a tutorial for one and have been going to make it. This would be much easier. There a many celebrations in our State for St. Patrick's Day. Some of the bigger towns have parades. There is green beer and Irish Stew too. I am half Irish on my mother's side, but I didn't do anything to celebrate today. We watched the Leprechaun movie on Hallmark tonight. It was a gorgeous summery day--very unusual weather for March in South Dakota.

We don't really celebrate, but Cleveland (which we live near) has been holding a St. Patrick's Day parade for the past 145 years. It was a record this year with approx. 500,000 attending and 16,000 marchers (the 70 degree weather didn't hurt)! Thanks for the chance to win!

I live in Australia and St Patricks Day is randomly celebrated over here - you will see some groups of people wearing green and Guinness being drunk, but for my family, we don't do anything special to celebrate. Thanks for your generous offer, I love the cathedral window pincushion, have always wanted to try and make one of those!

We don't really celebrate it ourselves but I made sure our Grand daughters had lots of decorations for their home and also made them placemats using St Patrick's day fabric, so cute!

I love that pincushion! We don't celebrate St Patricks day as it is my birthday the day before and my family gets together for that instead.

We decorated our table with a green tablecloth, placemats, and a green shamrock plant as the centerpice. We listened to some Irish music CD's, and for dessert we enjoyed frozen Key LIME pie! It was a great day!

I always celebrate St. Patrick's Day by wearing something green. This year I made a pistachio pudding salad and shared it with my Happy Saturday Homemaker group. Thanks!

St Patrick's Day at our house was warm and greeny. We decorate our home and the family comes over and enjoys a Irish dinner. You can find my house with the large green hat hanging on the front porch. Thanks for giveaway.

We celebrated with Irish music during the day including Bing Crosby and the Irish Tenors. Our feast was our Irish Vermonter's New England Boiled Dinner. I show how it's prepared on my blog...and some bits about our Famine Immigrant ancestors. Please visit and see. I love the spring table runner. If I win it, I'll make it for sure. I make patterns too. Bye for now.

Now that the kids are grown and one gone we dont celebrate much anymore. But I still have a good irish meal and irish music playing all day.
The pincushion is wonderful and the table runner pattern is lovely.

OHHHH What pretties you have for offer. I Love St. Patrick's Day by making homemade Irish Soda and scones. I vary my dinner every year. Like Cock-a-Leekie soup, corned beef dinner, etc. I spend the day curled up with my scones, hot tea and read Celtic Myths. I also celebrate with a great stout with dinner and a shot of Tullymadew Irish Whiskey in an Irish Coffee. Thanks for a chance to win.
